What will your birthing experience be?
You never know what happens during a delivery. Does this mean you do not need to prepare?
I believe there are great benefits if you do
Preparing for birth means you will be less surprised and you know your options and preferences in different situations. This will make you more confident and relaxed, which really increases your chances of a positive birth story.
Prepare for birth and your story will be different
You've got this.

ABOUT
Hi! I'm Roos (or Rose)
I have been teaching yoga for about 8 years, since I finished my teacher training in India. Currently, I am teaching Prenatal (or pregnancy) yoga and I lead private 'Preparation for birth' workshops.
During my own pregnancy, I decided to dive into pregnancy yoga and ways to prepare for birth. Both for myself and to become a specialized pregnancy yoga teacher. Doing yoga while being pregnant helped me to stay fit, focused and relaxed. During birth, I was able to stay calm and in the moment. Although giving birth to a child is intense, the whole experience was also magical. I believe giving birth (and being pregnant) can be hard at times, and you're being confronted with a wide array of emotions. But when you are able to prepare yourself and let your body guide you while you stay relaxed, giving birth can be an extraordinary and empowering experience. The good news? This is something you can learn!
I used to teach at a yoga studio near Eindhoven (at Yogastudio Aalst-Waalre), but since Corona came into our world, I have been teaching online, and I will continue doing so!
Before I became a yoga teacher, I worked as a coach and consultant. If you like you can find some more info about me here: LinkedIn profile.
Hope to meet you soon!
Online Prenatal yoga
Every week on zoom - together with other pregnant women
Prenatal yoga is suitable for all pregnant women, whether you have done yoga before or not!
During the lesson, we practice active and relaxing poses. All poses support your changing body and your baby. It helps you to stay strong and lean while it prepares you physically and mentally for the birth of your baby. Every lesson there is space to discuss anything that comes up or to ask questions. It is super valuable to share experiences in this special time of being pregnant and preparing for your delivery.
Every other week I'll prepare a thematic lesson on for example Postures for your delivery, the use of affirmations and visualizations, how to stay calm and relaxed, and much more
During yoga, you take a moment to connect with your body and baby. You are welcome at any time after the 12th week of your pregnancy. You don't need any yoga experience! You only need a computer/phone or tablet with zoom!
What will we do during a lesson?:
We practice the breathing technique that you can use during your delivery
Yoga postures
Space for questions about pregnancy/giving birth - sharing experiences - thematic lessons
Learn how to stay calm and relaxed during the birth of your baby
End relaxation
Even if you feel tired at night, it can be nice to join. The lessons - even though we practise some active postures - is relaxing and helps you to sleep well.
